1977 53 Feet Hatteras Convertible

 This yacht is an outstanding example of the 53’ Convertible that made Hatteras a classic. Over the past 2 years she received extensive updates including new engine gauges, alarm system, fire control system, wiring and control cable, engine room insulation, awl gripped engines & engine room, etc. She is ready to go cruising or fishing and represents an excellent opportunity to own a classic Hatteras 53 Convertible. Vessel is currently located in Nassau, Bahamas. This is the three stateroom model which sleeps 8 owners and guests in 3 staterooms, plus a convertible sofa in the salon. The Hatteras 53 was the industry standard for sport fisherman in the 50’ plus range. From her huge cockpit (147 sq. ft.) you enter the spacious salon with galley forward to port. The salon has 2 chairs to port, convertible sofa to starboard, built in bench seat with storage aft, hi-lo table and is tastefully decorated. Forward of the salon is a u-shaped galley with custom forward cabinets, drawer storage, lots of counter space, Princess range, built in under counter refrigerator, microwave, etc.

Forward and down from the salon and galley are the staterooms. Master is to port with queen berth, en-suite head, hanging locker and drawer storage. Opposite to starboard is the first guest stateroom with upper/ lower berths with adjoining head.
