TRUSS DE BEAR is a beautiful European plan convertible sportfish built in the Hatteras tradition for classic appearance with rugged, go anywhere construction. The salon is entered from the cockpit through a newly varnished teak door. One is immediately struck by the updated look with rich teak joiner work, Corian countertops, custom cabinetry, furniture, recessed lighting, headliner and coordinated carpet, drapes, wall coverings and fabrics throughout. Immediately to port is a green L-shaped settee with a teak end table. There is a glass topped occasional table in front of the settee. Adjacent to port is a small love seat and built-in liquor storage. Forward to port is a lower bar separating the salon from the fully equipped galley. The galley has a Norcold refrigerator with freezer, SS sink, custom cabinets, Roper two burner stove, Sharp carousel convection/microwave and there is plenty of countertop, drawer and cabinet space for storing food and dishes. Adjacent to starboard is an entertainment center with built-in JVC TV, VCR, CD, Stereo AM/FM with remotes. Moving forward the guest stateroom is to port with crisscross upper/lower berths. The guest head compartment is adjacent to starboard. It has a large vanity w/mirror, marine head and a separate stall shower. The master is forward which features a large centerline queen berth, designer spread, hanging locker, ladies vanity w/mirror, private head compartment and plenty of drawer and cabinet storage. There is a crew cabin accessed by a hatch on the foredeck, just aft of the anchor locker, which has a fold down bed and can double as dry storage area. The large cockpit can accommodate a group of serious fisherman. There is a rugged fighting chair, two live wells, custom bait cutting board, ice machine, tackle center, spreader lights, out riggers, cockpit sun awning, tuna tower and much, much more. There is a full compliment of electronics Furuno radar, Loran, & color depth sounder, FLO-Scan digital tach. w/pgh & total gallons used, Northstar 951X GPS Nav., Simrad Robertson AP11 autopilot, digital Dytek temp. and Datamarine Navigator speed & time log. Power is provided by twin 485-hp GM 6V92 TI with 1500 hours. She cruises at 18 Kts with a maximum of 21 Kts. She has been maintained by the same captain for eight years and it shows. This will make a great liveaboard for the cruiser fisherman.
